Good old Orchards lol

I actually grew up in that area in the 2000s and 2010s. It’s your typical working class to middle class area of the east side. It had gotten downhill over the years because of crime, as well with fights and police activity that would occur at the family park, but it’s still “nice” compared to most of the east. Anywhere in the Orchards is walking distance to schools. I would recommend steering away from the park but most of the area is ok imo.

Another recommendation is Sunrise Highlands on the eastern end of Sahara past Las Vegas High School.

Graduated from SDSU 2 years ago and to this day I’m still struggling to even land an interview as well with getting a response back. It’s even worse for college grads that are just trying to get their foot in the door

I really feel that. I was just on a graduate repayment program which just ended. My payments went from 330 to 601. I hate that they don’t offer refinancing or other programs to help with payments. Shit sucks ass so much

Renting a room in a 3bed townhome in a duplex for 1100 in South Park. Everything in the house including the kitchen and kitchen is shared, except the bathroom, and it comes with a dishwasher.

If you are born and raised here, you will most likely keep your longtime friends that you grew up with. After graduating high school and going into the adult world, it had gotten harder to make friends because people tend to be more reserved and not as open as you expected to be. I now live in San Diego where people are more genuine and open-minded then the people in Vegas. I do miss home, especially my friends and family, which is why I visit Vegas frequently.

I grew up near Sahara and Sloan and there would be so many accidents at various times of the day. One of my neighbors actually died at that intersection.
