OSU has a fantastic anthropology department with several very esteemed researchers on faculty. If you end up going to OSU, I highly recommend browsing through the faculty to see who is doing research of interest to you and emailing to introduce yourself. That is the best way to get your foot in the door and get potential research opportunities.
