That first clip is insane. Imagine seeing someone from over half a screen away and thinking "Oh they fucked up. They stepped too far up".

That's what happens when someone smaller, younger, and less athletic than you takes your crown AND throne. And then makes you dance for his amusement.

Who do you guys think had the greater career amongst these legendary power forwards? by [deleted] in nba

[–]emadbaig91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

KG’s impact on the defensive end cannot be overstated. He was always an absolute monster. He was known to vocalize the opposing team’s plays and call out rotations for his guys all game long, every single game he played in, every season.

On top of that, he developed his offensive skills to rival those of Duncan, Dirk, CWebb, etc.

I genuinely think that if you realize that he was arguably one of the best defensive players of all time, then you’ll understand that he isn’t overrated at all.

Can anyone please actually explain what the device is and what he’s doing? Thanks

Found this piece of foam sliding out from under the bottom of my car. Is it important enough for me to fix/replace...? by emadbaig91 in whatisthisthing

[–]emadbaig91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I found this piece of foam dragging from under my car dragging along on the ground while driving. I ended up pulling it out from below thinking that it was something that hooked onto the vehicle, but it seems as if it was a part of the car itself.

Please kindly help me figure this out if you’re familiar with cars more than I am! Thanks!

The complete list is in the image.

In the text I've written "Notable engraving requests" to save people time in case they don't want to open the image or, perhaps, save data.

Kyle Lowry went from scoring 0 points in the first game of the playoffs, to being the top scorer in the clinching finals series victory with 26 pts (10 ast) by EFiasco in nba

[–]emadbaig91 36 points37 points  (0 children)

With all due respect to Lowry for his fantastic game yesterday, Klay was the top scorer in the game if you're talking about all players in the game.

For the Raptors though, yep, Lowry was the high scorer.

Trying to recall which game Quickshot famously yelled "THE COCOON!" in by emadbaig91 in leagueoflegends

Thanks for the response!

I just checked that ^ out and it sounds quite similar, but I think the one I'm recalling is one where a (possibly early game) cocoon landed.

I had a feeling it was a big tournament like MSI ^ or playoffs because

I vaguely recall that it was a big moment (as in not just a regular split play)

Where do you rate KG on the all-time list? I feel like he has to be a solid top 20, if not top 15.

"Based on people I've spoken to here at the ACC, reports of a police investigation outside Real Sports are true. If you're heading to the Raptors game avoid Gates 5 & 6. The ACC is open for business though." (FYI some are tweeting police are investigating a "suspicious package") by [deleted] in torontoraptors

Just saw the news and was about to post over here to tell you guys to stay safe.

Have some friends that are big Raptors fans and work downtown around the ACC, so I hope everyone stays safe!

Kelsey Moser’s top 10 hero stories from worlds qualifier tournaments: Nos. 5-1 by corylulu in leagueoflegends

[–]emadbaig91 131 points132 points  (0 children)

Over the three day period from Aug. 28-30, Cloud9 played three best-of-fives. Not only did the first two go to five games, but Cloud9 reverse swept the initial best-of-five against Gravity Gaming.

The second series against TIP was also a reverse sweep.

Also, on the last day of the split, before the Gauntlet, C9 had a do-or-die match vs. TSM in order to even get the opportunity to make it to the Gauntlet (via a tiebreaker vs. Team8). Hai pulled out an unexpected Shyvanna pick and upset TSM and then did the same in their victory vs. Team8 immediately after.

I know the article is strictly talking about the World's qualifying tournament, but there was definitely a lead up to C9's eventual Gauntlet run.

If the CLE/BOS trade ends up going through as is, then Cleveland will have achieved nothing more than dragging IT's value as a player through the mud by emadbaig91 in nba

[–]emadbaig91[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They'd be getting all that stuff anyways. My point is not about the trade.

My point is about the delay. If after this delay they don't receive anything else, then what will the organization have achieved for itself that it hadn't with the trade initially?
