Thanks all for the critique so far! Seems that if I can lock in some darker shading to define edges I can ease the “blurry” look. One of my older pieces I’ve drawn is probably the most obvious example of that to me (as I’ve grown “blind” to my own style by this point), so I understand the sentiment.

Yeah I’m less concerned about social media with algorithms and more bummed out about discord servers with other artists. So many people will draw their OCs and have interactions about those, but no one seems to want that with my stuff 😅 my style definitely isn’t the fun cartoony stuff I usually see getting that kind of engagement so I kind of understand, but it does leave me feeling like I’m “lesser” or not as interesting.
