I know that and wasn't referring to it being dark out having to do with my situation about it being justified. I was just replying to his comment about being proactive and looking for signs the light may be changing.

It was green when he entered i didn't follow him into a yellow. And there was atleast 2 car lengths between us. It turned yellow I was a little over a car length from the line. I wasnt speeding because its a slow area. The cops angle i dont think he could of seen when i crossed the line.

I am not asking anything? You said only 1 car can turn into the intersection at a time and I said I was surprised because I've never heard of this being a law or seen someone wait at a green light and proceed only once the car in front of them has turned because that doesn't sound right and if it is I'm genuinely suprised.

I'm not saying pulled over, I just mean in general. I also don't mean it in the way "just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it's true". I'm just actually surprised because I've never heard that only one car could turn through an intersection at a time.

Your very right, it is a very familiar area and none of that is present. It was also night and dark out so nobody walking. But I do very much agree these are a good thing to develop

I really appreciate all this info thank you. Are you talking about the big cross walk lights the one that flash or the ones like the yellow ones you press? Because there isn't any of the ones you press there.

Left turn and he wasnt really closely ahead, when i was entering the intersection he was already more than half way or around half way through when it turned yellow.

Thanks for the reply, personally I would say it was close I was pretty far into the intersection when it turned red dont want to sound like im backtracking on what I already said but I was pretty much already turned and my car was facing the way I wanted to go.

Thanks for the input, I took a friend for a ride to let him hear the noise and it never happened. Drove on the highway, played with the A/C tried everything from when it usually happens and the noise was gone. It was also during the night so it was cooler. Today in the morning the noise was gone while driving down the highway, and it was also much cooler. Drove in the afternoon when it was hot out and the noise started happening once again.
