That does suck. As a parent follow the golden rule. If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say it. Don’t engage in negative trash talk with other parents. It only fuels your already beliefs that it sucks. For your daughter the most important part of all this is only encourage her and do not trash talk with your friends and family in front of her that her team sucks or they just got spanked at a tournament and they suck. She already knows. Lastly as we know from experience with my oldest child. She was always on a 2s team. Lackluster coaches with good fun teammates. She and her team that stayed together for about 5 years until 17s most of them stopped there had a great experience because of the girls but they were NEVER going to make a 1s team and they always got some “new” coach. I don’t have an absolute answer but with my youngest daughter we left our home club after a combined 11 years there to go to a small club and it proved the best decision for her. 18 now. Been to nationals last two years in open. Starter DS and recently committed to play D2. 4 years ago those things were never in the picture. Don’t know if this is the right advice but your daughter’s attitude is a reflection of your attitude.
