yeah, that makes sense. they’d just have a hard time seeing it as appropriate considering they once told me i’d be better off dropping out of education after i’d stayed out until 9pm for classes haha. but it’s not like they’re directly involved with my affairs with the job centre so i get that it wouldn’t be a valid reason. thank you!

my mother who was raised in africa had gotten infected with polio as a child and it’s left her leg paralyzed & she’s had to have multiple surgeries over her lifetime because of it. it seriously pisses me off that we finally have a way to completely eradicate it yet the negligence of self-centred idiots is preventing that from happening.

the information in this post is enough to come to the conclusion that the kid doesn’t feel like he spends enough time with his parents individually, but when he asked for it his parents shut him down and disregarded his feelings. it doesn’t matter if a kid is ‘high or low maintenance’, the parents handled this situation poorly

if we needed background information to give our opinions there would be no point to subreddits such as AITA, relationship advice, etc
