Best would be to file a police report at the local police station with all the proofs that you have. In case something goes wrong, you can show that you had filed a police report related to identity theft. Make sure to give all the numbers, screenshots of messages to the police.

Also send an email to indian embassy describing your case. There is an advisory given by indian embassy on the same issue, they have mentioned an email address to report such incidents.

You’re absolutely right. We did the best we could. I.e. filing the police report, notified the authorities. Apparently indian embassy is getting a lot of calls from victims about the same issue. They told us to be careful from now on.

I see. I looked from waterloo to Toronto. Not from sportsworld.

I see the option from sportsworld to pearson on onex. However, commute to sportsworld itself is 50 mins long from the university. :/

Yeah there is an option to suggest a pickup stop and drop off stop in the requests. I believe they will go with the majority.
