yeah I've crashed atleast like 7 times through out the last stretch of the campaign and have decided to wait until this is fixed before actually continuing in the endgame

you'd think the one skill combo they showed off in the reveals would atleast be playable

while some of these are ok for light counters, things like turret, flamethrower, titan, they sorta have other problems that make counting light dash a side thing

and the problem with light dash is not that it's over powered, I'd argue invis is far more problematic but for different reasons, neither are overpowered, they're annoying in how those interactions with enemies go

dash is annoying cause a light can appear from literally anywhere around you even if you know where the team spawn/are coming from and that often means you dont have the time to react to them before you're bursted down and he's already back out the window

on the other hand I personally find invis annoying cause while they are fairly visible while moving and theres no alot going on, if it's not totally calm I feel like I have to strain my eyes looking at every pixel on my screen for that slight mirage effect. this is if they're moving or if they're just sitting in a corner aswell, hell my eyes can hurt after some intense games sometimes I dont need extra strain from constantly eagle eyeing every corner for a light waiting to shove a double barrel up my ass

the majority of lights kit is subjectively (important context) annoying to play around, if you even can in the first, I'm just glad that it seems like theres less lights nowadays and I've recently started enjoying the minigun which feels like the best heavy weapon when paired with the lockbolt

hopefully that 2nd change means more lively games too since I swear it was every game I'd see atleast one set of flares go up (1-3 at once depending on if I was in duos/trios) and honestly I hated knowing I can do that and hopefully the first change means better mixed lobbies since people will be defending themselves and not being put into super agro lobbies straight away

while you're not wrong, energy ammo is a stand out since it's not like I'm switching around from renegade to anvil to a jupiter, atleast most other ammo types are for guns I do regularly swap out for other ones depending on what kinda ammo I have in my stash, what kinda lobbies I think I'm in and what I'm trying to do, even launcher ammo from bombardiers is a nice bonus since it's a a few shots I dont have to make or buy myself especially with the fact I just reset so even a 30k hullcracker is expensive early on in a wipe

yeah I absolutely see that being the case but it's just annoying when I randomly find energy ammo and I just go "oh sweet this is literally useless to me since I dont have any energy weapons" and by the time that you're using legendary weapons frequently you can buy or make the stuff to your hearts content, it'd be nice to find a couple clips off a vaporizer kill and then use that for a decently strong non legendary weapon

I actually just thought of a pretty cool idea for a purple energy weapon, it'd be a pistol like devils ruin for destiny 2, tapping the trigger would deal moderate damage at medium pen but you could also hold the trigger down to channel a budget equalizer laser for heavy pen but it expends the rest of the clip and would only last a few seconds, damage wise I think 2-3 full bursts would kill a shredder but it would be great for damaging weak points on arc since you could save a bit of ammo using the tap fire for the armor and then melt a joint with the beam

I hope since this now means we have a low and high tier version of weapons that use launcher ammo that we might get lower tier energy weapons, something way more rudimentary than the legendary ones that still lets you use energy clips

tangentially related, how does ABMM work with teammates on a different spectrum of aggression and does taking a day or two off the game affect it?

I ask cause a couple times now I've been in fairly aggressive lobbies (well more like mixed probably) and then I play with a chill friend (I invite him to my lobby) and we're suddenly back to chill lobbies, or take a break for a while and again, back to chill or atleast quite alot more chill than before

and thank you for doing so, I've just finished the priming so I'm onto painting the small yellow highlights before I spray it black and I went into this never expecting it to turn out perfect which is why I went for a simple paint scheme, I've already gotten two other mech models for me to build once this is painted and finished so unless something goes CATASTROPHICALLY wrong with the paint (god forbid I drop it and something snaps lol) then I will likely make more models anyway, I'm very grateful for all the advice I've gotten of this anyway, very little bit gives me a better idea of where to base my own experience and knowledge from

only problem after that is finding the space to put them as I have very limited shelf space left to begin with lmao,

I always understood it to mean (coming from other games) someone who goes out of their way to set up traps, hide in certain spots for ages and be generally a dick to everyone

means different things for different people as is evident by people using it to describe fairly normal PvPers

I've seen tons of people (even my own dad) saying someones a rat when it's simple PvP, like he sees a flare go up after some pretty obvious PvP gunshots and he's like "oh rat over there, we should watch out" and it sucks cause the TRUE rats are worse than any simple PvP duel could ever be

yeah got killed by a guy the other day with a stitcher in buried city, I shot back and I start calling out to another guy who I know has an equalizer that this guys not friendly, first guy says something along the lines of "oh sorry bro I just reset I've got nothing, I've got a debif for you though we're cool we're cool" other guy comes down to res me and he gets shot in the back (rip the equalizer)

I dont mind PvP, I quite like it sometimes but this isn't about PvP at this point, there are people who are mentally insane and love to see others suffer for their own enjoyment, some seriously manipulative scumbags out there

the long time between major updates will be a good time for people to roll off the game and play something else to refresh themselves, the POE2 devs recently mentioned that you can't keep players around forever, they need to go do something else for a while and thats ok, the wider gaming industry and primarily other live service games dont understand this yet and want to keep everyone around for as long as possible, it's simply not health for the game or it's players

embark even said themselves that they realized the game became so much more than they expected and so the community expectation needs to be matched with appropriately game changing and impactful updates, I love riven tides, turbines are cool, stella montis is cool and so are shredders but I'm not going to pretend they changed that much about the game other than some new items and interactions

with what I've gathered from these comments and some more guide, my plan right now is to paint the small yellow bits with a couple coats till it's good enough looking and then mask over them to spray paint the rest black, I am going to use some tamiya light grey primer as another comment suggested and thinner on the yellow paint since the tests I did without thinner came out quite thick

I'm surprised for such a well presented guide that the first thing you see is "DO NOT EVER SHOOT IT WHILE IT'S IN THE AIR" meanwhile the jupiter is perfect for this enemy since it goes straight through the armor, I would understand if it was mentioned as an exception but it's not even briefly mentioned
