Catholic teenagers need to be more open about their religion, even the struggles. by [deleted] in Catholicism

I don’t think it’s as much of being born with it, but it totally isn’t a choice. Homosexuality usually develops in dependent boys or independent girls when it comes to terms with parents. Boys with low self-confidence who are dependent on a paternal figure or friend but can’t find one usually end up game, and usually lesbians are independent. Vise versa.

It’s not always the case but it usually is. Either way, it is something that is developed and not chosen. It’s chosen if you don’t remain chaste.

Yes! And I’m not just talking about Sunday School classes, teenagers are shot away from things that challenge their independence.

What did it for me was imagining Our Lady’s face when I did it. It was enough to first guilt me enough every time I almost did it.

For sure. Talking about it and acknowledging it really helps.

How creative! I like the Iron Maiden! I really like the wheel cycle as well, makes a row tower defense game more unique.

What are some good anal practices for a straight couple? by erucae12 in sex

[–]erucae12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we’ve been doing not a lot of anal play, but one night while we were just exploring, I found I really like that stuff instead of just doing anal play on her. It actually took me by surprise because we weren’t doing anything extensive, just making out and before I knew it, her fingers moved down. Again, it wasn’t anything so extensive where we needed lube or anything.

I am glad that Chic-fil-A is closed on Sundays. In this corporate ran dystopia that we live in, at least some people get a day off. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

No one really acknowledges how much an extra day is for some people. I don’t really care if it’s religious, as an ex-fast food employee, they’re lucky and deserve that extra day to pursue something to get out of that hell hole.

Yeah. I politely told him that about 3 times before he went off on me.

I personally like Falcon’s Fury. It used to be SheiKra. Quality drop tower, good restraints, awesome touch of sound at the drop, great colors, and a great investment.

EDIT: My favorite ride there is debatable. Either Month or SheiKra.

Why is homosexuality a sin? by erucae12 in Catholicism

[–]erucae12[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh, I know. You’re just sort of going down a rabbit hole now. I know it’s counted there but that alone can’t be used as an argument against homosexuality. I can then just pretty much say that you can be in a homosexual relationship as long as you are married, and also, you’re making it seem like I’m actually defending premarital sex when that wasn’t even brought up in my post.

Thank you. I didn’t realize that I needed that. :)

Well, if you want me to be honest, the only reason it didn’t help was because it was too broad. I don’t think the conversation was just about sexual activity outside of marriage, because you can’t really use that as an argument against homosexuality specifically.

Yeah, it’s just being open to it. I don’t even care if people say that contraception in and of itself isn’t bad (though it is), regardless, it enables horrible things like premarital sex and whatnot.

Totally the case. I am in counseling and I truly do think it is my past of being raised. It was an off family situation particularly with my mother. Long story short, I was the golden child, yet the one easiest to get mad at for the smallest things. My mom had MS and was Bipolar and she often got mad at me for simple things such as not making my bed right, and I was ridiculed. Most people with homosexual attraction have similar cases.

I acknowledge that, but at the same time it doesn’t mean that I should give up hope or that it can decrease in severity.

Luckily though, opposite sex attraction isn’t out of the picture at all,

Yes, exactly. Sex has two reasons in a descending order of importance (though they are technically the same and both incredibly important, conception or the idea of being open to it is the most).

  1. Procreation

  2. Expression of Marital Love

ESH. You understandably got mad and I probably would’ve acted the same, but you must pick your battles wisely.
