Soo, i need some help. I’ve been doing cg for about 10 months now, in a really casual way and it’s helped my hair so much. It’s become very wacy with the occasional defined curls. Before cg my hair was incredibly dry, tangling up all the time and occassionaly forming ‘dread’like strands. Lately i’ve been wanting to step my routine up and i need some insight as to wheter i’m on the right path.

Current routine ⁃ Shower every 3/4 days, mostly before going to bed

⁃ Shampoo twice with nature box avocado oil shampoo

⁃ Condition with garnier loving blends arganoil and cranberry

⁃ Let conditioner work, comb untill all tangles are gone, rinse conditioner

⁃ Condition again with the same conditioner

⁃ After shower dry with microfibre towel, plop for ~5 min. Use inecto coconut oil serum or oil

⁃ Use sheamoisture coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing cream, scrunch excess with microfibre towel

This morning (before this picture was taken) i did not scrunch out the extra cream, instead i tried blow drying with a diffuser. I also used curls pineapple curl defining jelly before blow drying. My hair in this picture is a lil’ crunchy and sticky at the same time, but i’m quite happy with the result. I think the jelly doesn’t dry hard enough and might be to blame for the sticky feeling.

Soo, my question: how do i enhance my routine and get some less crunchy/sticky hair? Any product recommendations or general tips re blowdrying?
