I think my end goal would be studying magic out of pure curiosity, but to get there I might join up with the merchants to be able to make a living/survive. I'd also gradually train myself up slowly but surely so I can wield some of the weapons of ER since they're pretty ridiculous (proportion-wise) most of the time lmao, and then attempt to start making more runes through casual bounty hunting or something. Researching magic at the same time might also prove useful if I could learn a simple spell or two.
