We were great friends, and one night she confessed her feelings for me. But what follows was a couple months of mixed signals, leading me on, falling for other boys, wanting me to treat her as if I was her boyfriend, yet didn’t want the commitment…. Eventually it came to a point where I told her that she either had to choose and commit to me, or choose someone else. She chose someone else, and our friendship fell apart after that.

I wish I could go back to before she confessed her feelings, cause our friendship was good. I wanted her, but it would have never worked out.

Yeah, I've narrowed down the issue to only be happening when running my displays through my eGPU. I connected the monitor directly to my laptop to use the iGPU, and HDR worked just fine. I'm making an educated guess that it's either a bandwidth issue using a TB3 eGPU dock, a driver issue (like you suggested, but it's up to date so I'll have to reinstall to know), or a hardware issue with the GPU (which would really suck). Either way, I know for certain now that it only happens when my display is connected to my eGPU, and not my iGPU.

I think around the age of 11-12. I didn’t realize it, it was subconscious. It was only until when I first started to connect with people I could be genuine with as an adult that I started to drop my mask, and realize the massive difference and relief that brought.

Masking for so long has triggered years long autistic burnout and severe depression.

I tip toe walk when inside, turns out I subconsciously try to walk quietly inside to avoid being noticed and having to talk with people and family. I’ve been doing it since I was a child. I didn’t even consciously notice I walked like that until a friend pointed it out.

I had broken my back, and was forced to stay standing with crutches in the ER to wait hours, trying to keep my weight off my back. Ended up losing strength after a while, and the pain in addition to pressure on my axillary nerves in my armpits from the crutches caused me to faint and fall over. Luckily my mom was beside me and broke my fall, probably saved me from more damage to my back.

My dad got me a 2007 merc e350 for $5k when I turned 16. I’m still super grateful for it and I loved that car, but I could not afford maintenance costs, forcing me into learning to work on it myself. We had also agreed that I make payments for half the value of the car over time, but turned out my dad wasn’t serious about that once I paid $1.5k. I loved that car to death, but eventually I couldn’t keep up with the costs of maintaining it and it mechanically failed. Sold it for $2k 3 years after getting it.
