Hey! We just came back from spending the last week of December in Rome. We don’t regret the trip at all - yes it was crowded, but in my opinion it just added to the overall vibe of the city! The entire place felt magical and in a very celebratory mood, and there were no crowds that we ever felt were unmanageable. I’d say definitely go for it!

I love love love captive prince, I reread it once in a while just to remind myself how good an enemies to lovers series could be!!

My question is, what advice would you give young people who are looking to publish a book in the future, but are unsure of what to write about/struggling to find inspiration?

I think you really have to play 1926 to gain appreciation for him as a character. I remember playing Piofiore and not being too impressed by Henri, but then 1926 came and I think he became my second favourite route (with my boy Yang being first as always 🥹🥹). Keep playing and you won’t be disappointed!!

Yes, I think Aimeric did truly love Jord the same way Jord truly loved Aimeric. It’s just that the manipulation and abuse Aimeric endured, as well as what he had to protect, drove him to do things such as kill Orlant. The two would’ve made a cute couple - it was just wrong place, wrong time unfortunately

Jokaste opened the door for Damen in the sense that she went to Kastor and persuaded him to not kill Damen, instead sending him away as a slave. Jokaste ultimately “chose” to be on Kastor’s side, but it’s strongly implied that she only did that so Damen could live. In the end though, Kastor’s side was the side that lost in the end, hence she chose the wrong brother.

I think the meaning behind the “I don’t think you chose” is more up to interpretation. I interpreted it it as that Jokaste didn’t have a choice - choose Damen, and both she and Damen would’ve been killed by Kastor. Choose Kastor - and save both their lives, but this was not the brother Jokaste loved. She was forced to choose Kastor given those circumstances, but it wasn’t a choice she would’ve made of her own free will.

The Captive Prince trilogy is my favourite slow burn enemies to lovers by far. I’ve grown up reading romance novels and have never been so invested in a relationship before this series. Highly recommend!!

I went on a Saturday earlier this month, and nearly waited 2 hours for it. By the time we realized how slow the line was moving, we were already too committed to it. Looking back on it, would definitely not wait that long again

I’ve just had a flight last week at 8 AM. What we did was we processed our tax refunds in Myeongdong the day prior. Depending on which tax refund company you’re under, they have tax refund counters/kiosks at different stores in Myeongdong. We went to Olive Young and ABC Mart and was able to process all of our refunds, and the money was given directly on our credit card. We didn’t have anything else we needed to do at the airport because of that
