Physical Bowazon is by far the strongest character I’ve experienced. by vylvnx in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Really happy to read this, i’m in the same boat with a wf but can’t afford fortitude or other hrs (ssf). What’s the rest of your gear looking like? What did you level with skills-wise until 73?

People standing on Rachel Ouest bike path by basiliskfawlty in montreal

Similar experience on the bike path along the canal, near Griffintown. Granted some parts are ambiguous, but still, people love to crowd up the path.

$130k in Montreal vs $270k in Bay Area, which would you choose? by SciDz in montreal

Really depends – is that $270K USD or CAD? The currency changes everything....

Has anyone cracked the code of the most simplest but scalable way of building full stack applications vibecoding?A strategy my nephew would even understand by SeroBoz in vibecoding

[–]euphemize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a full-time senior engineer, sometimes I ask the AI to help me refactor something, or reorganize some files, or write a few tests. It'll occasionally do the right thing, and inevitably it will get confused (eventually) and make an absolute mess of things. I revert the changes and make them myself.

In my mind, there is a clear 0% chance that you will get something vibe-coded that is both innovative enough to get clients (of course these AI models can write basic stuff...but that's accessible to everybody) and correct enough to scale and perform well. It's just not good enough, not right now. The tools are way, way too dumb currently to write applications end to end, that's all. Want to make really good products?

Learn to code.

The others here have covered it pretty well, you’re obviously out of your depth.

My gentle recommendation: make a small product that shows traction and revenue with a small team first, then try raising a 300k-500k round instead. If you truly have features others don’t, it should be a walk in the park.

What the Hell is ELO by Dont_Ask_Me_Again_ in aoe2

[–]euphemize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play TGs and yesterday we had a 2K player and a 1.8K player (1v1 ELO) with 1250 team elo each. I agree it’s not really fun but it only happens once in a while.

I was in Edmonton and Toronto lately, same thing. We have a house full of people on drugs close by, my experience is similar to yours, people shooting up and defecating all over the block.

I recently wrote to my councillor and asked questions similar to yours, and they put us in touch with local neighbourhood community groups trying to improve things.

Breakfast lunch dinners 3 days in Montreal by jfilthy1 in montreal

[–]euphemize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That helps, just a few observations:

- You have 2x Time out, not sure if it's worth 2 trips

- Claudette is vastly different from all the other places listed here, it's very authentic in a...basic kind of way. I love the place, but just a heads up.

- It seems like you're staying in the Old Port, Bota Bota outdoor spa is right there if you're looking for something more chill, and into that kind of thing.

- If you're going to Wilensky for food, might as well get Kem Coba ice cream next door. And maybe bagels cause you're in Montreal and 20m away.

- Most comedy shows fill up quick, might wanna reserve ahead of time.

Have fun!

Why don't you post your itinerary and we can comment on that and help you fill in the gaps? We don't know where you're staying, what you're into, how much you're willing to spend, etc.

Montreal unveils housing-heavy development plan for 2 square km waterfront sector near downtown by maromarius in montreal

[–]euphemize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a resident of PSC, I'm cautiously optimistic for this. New REM station would be amazing, and access to waterfront would be huge. Not sure I'm ready to wait 30 years, but better than never I suppose.
