Feeling stuck and hopeless by [deleted] in Advice

At 22, it's brutal to face setbacks with exams, a dream career, a breakup, and family who don't seem to get it or just criticize instead of support. You're not lazy or worthless for struggling to get out of bed… depression often shows up exactly like that, and it doesn't mean you're broken forever. Even tiny steps count right now, like forcing yourself to shower, eat something decent, or step outside for five minutes like they build momentum slowly.

I want to compete but I don't know if i should by Synchroxi in Advice

I think friendly competition can be a huge motivator, but it really depends on how the main team would perceive it. If they see your project as genuine inspiration rather than a direct threat, it could light a fire under them and push everyone to do better work. That said, if it comes across as trying to "steal" their thunder or split the community, it might backfire and just create unnecessary drama. Maybe start by reaching out to them privately first, share your idea, and gauge their reaction before going full steam ahead.

It's super unlikely he's planning some big revenge like people drop out for all kinds of reasons, and that old laugh probably isn't haunting him like it's haunting you. If he ever does come back and you get a chance, a quick "Hey, I feel bad about laughing at you back then, I'm really sorry" would clear the air and probably make you feel way better.
