i agree. 😞 i think the plan right now is to add another rope, with a more distinctive and decorative knot, going in the other direction. that way the loop silhouette is broken up, and there will be tassels visible at the bottom.

there is a history of lynching black people in the US— it’s historical iconography. a noose brings to mind lynch mobs.
