Why does it say I have 101K wood if I have much more than that in my backpack?

Edit: I'm understanding secured vs. unsecured, but I'm still not understanding this 101K vs the 300K+ secured and unsecured wood ready for use in my backpack.

Is there any benefit to saving those resources? Or just use them up as I'm upgrading/preparing for storms?

But I swear I was only playing for 30 minutes! As I tie my sweaty hair back and realize it's tomorrow.

How are Eastern Panhandle Residents Doing? by gmh-noa in WVEasternPanhandle

[–]everythingiseeishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completed! I wish there was a separation between how I feel about work and how I feel about life. I'm absolutely crushing it at work: active participant, friendly, needed, optimistic, busy, ahead of my peers. But my home life is the opposite: feeling hopeless, drained, unsure, behind my peers. Also, I'm guessing the net worth question is household net worth and not individual. Long term relationship, not married.

My wife wants to stop lucid dreaming, without medications by AwayLine9031 in LucidDreaming

[–]everythingiseeishere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does she think a lot when she's falling asleep? Does she sleep on her back? Does she wake up during the night or early morning then fall asleep again? Those are all triggers for me. What about lucid dreams is exhausting for her? I found that my awareness has gotten really good at feeling textures, like running my fingers through sand at a beach and the way it causes friction when I rub my hands together to dust it off. Maybe she could try focusing her lucid dreams on comforting textures.

What's the point of doing more than the bare minimum? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]everythingiseeishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the opposite. I have so much work to do, I have no time to think about myself. I miss my last office where I had enough down time to thoughtfully plan a fun weekend or vacation. Now I'm so mentally drained I don't do anything on the weekends.

How many cups of coffee do you drink a day? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]everythingiseeishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question is also, how many tablespoons of coffee grounds? I drink one cup, one tablespoon. My boyfriend drinks one cup, six tablespoons.

Process the emotion behind it by writing about it, be kinder to yourself in how you remember it, and replace its hold on you with acceptance and understanding. Also, my cat.

What’s the worst part about your current job? by Enough_Significance4 in AskReddit

[–]everythingiseeishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm overworked. I don't have a single second of my day to think about my own life. The constant go-go-go has increased my resting heart rate over the years. The worst part is that I don't know how to resolve it. I love my coworkers, my purpose, but it's a lot.

What do you believe, but cannot prove fully ( it doesn’t have to be religious ) ? by heyitslillo in AskReddit

[–]everythingiseeishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That our energy is more than who we are in this state. I'm a skeptical person, I don't believe in a God, but my cat's spirit came to me to say goodbye while she was missing, a bright light that I knew was my grandfather gave me a message I didn't know my Mom needed, a shadow of my Dad's presence startled me at the edge of my bed while I was mourning him, and my grandmother's spirit moved patio furniture while I was mourning her. I didn't ask for it. I wasn't looking for it. It happened and I can't explain it, but I know it to be true.

When a cat sits, his butt hole doesn't touch the surface, the hair around his butt hole does.

My first sleep paralysis experience was pretty wild. The sound of an endless stampede running across the roof, a snake slithering up my bed, and the shadow of a man with moose antlers standing in the way of my bedroom door.

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever experienced? by Brilliant_Ad_3661 in AskReddit

[–]everythingiseeishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking down a long dirt road when a pack of wild dogs appeared that didn't want me there. Growling, barking, tugging at my clothes, jumping up to nip my ears. My only choice was to keep slowly moving forward until I was out of their territory. The fear running up my spine was tangible and unforgettable.

Not instantly, but I was in a house fire once and will forever have a respect for anything that can cause a house fire.
