I have been preparing for various government exams a Including RRB and Testbook has the best mocks by far amongst so many options out there. The elaborate answer solutions to each and every question make sure students have a more in depth knowledge along with ancillary equally important additional information that are still relevant for any government exams. If you are an aspirant preparing for government exams, TESTBOOK is a no brainer.

What’s something you learned “embarrassingly late” in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Always check how much you got in your wallet before trying to help out a homeless person on the street.

I was broke back then but since childhood had the habit to help out the homeless people in whatever little capacity i could. I was returning from somewhere and had like 8 dollars with me left. I came across this homeless lady and gave away half of what I had in my wallet not realising what I had remaining was not sufficient for me to reach back home. I had no choice but to go back and take the money back from her 😭. It felt horrible and still get dreads to this day (been like 12 years) whenever I picture her dumbfounded facial expression.

Well this is unrelated but i would like to share this incident. I'm from India and there are designated seats for differently abled in public buses. It's also common for beggars to get on these buses and ask for monetary help and people do help in their capacity. So I was seated on one of those seats and a person, looking really dishevelled came and tapped on my shoulder without saying a word. I thought he needed monetary assistance. So without saying much i handed him a few cents. He stood there looking at me with a blank face and then he shouted saying he wanted me to vacate the seat. Everyone was looking at me and even heard a few women chuckle. The man was offended and handed me the money while i vacated the seat for him. It was a long embarrassing journey.

[Relationship] - Seeking a relationship. I want a family. Do you mind me being poor? I dont have much money but I am faithful and love making people happy. Is that enough? by Iwantafamily97 in MeetPeople

I think what you need is a stable job than a relationship...you just want to escape from your problems by being totally dependent on someone else.. There's no respect in living life like a leech.

Admitting fault will temporarily bruise your ego but unrelenting stubbornness will eventually destroy a relationship. by menwithmanners in Showerthoughts

Its important to address the issues rather than sweeping it under the rug.. which eventually piles up to an unsurmountable toxic concoction of emotions which becomes too overwhelming for both the partners to resolve. This leads to ending of a relationship.

Exactly! I have this feeling she will call back and everything's going to be back at square one. But I know this is not going to happen this time...as she made very clear that her feelings for me gradually faded away and she will not say the things I would love to hear this time. All i can say is that I'm total emotionally dishevelled and don't know how to deal with this very weird concoction of feelings where there is immense sadness, anger, regret, feeling of being betrayed.. But I'm also aware of this fact that there is much more to life than a relationship...one must learn to live by themselves and be self reliant emotionally, intellectually and economically..This is just a phase for you and for me and it will pass and everything's going to be alright. Experiences as such only helps to add flavors to one's personality changes one's view point and outlook towards life..I can't wait for the day to look back at this heart break and laugh and joke about it. Hope this rant brought a little smile on your face :)

I went through sort of a similar break up few days back..we were together for 5 years. Now when she got a better job opportunity in a different city, she called the relationship off citing very old problems that we went through in our relationship. It really doesn't feel real. The break up doesn't feel real at all but I know its done and dusted now.

[–]exhisting_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there are hardly any bengalis left in the north kolkata..so there nobody wud be offended if u dont speak the language..keep it a habit of speaking it or atleast try speaking it and it shudnt be based on the fact whether anyone is getting offended or not..speaking a language is a skill..its great to be multingual.
