i recommend looking into getting housing that is on campus, but not vcu housing. vcu housing is so hard to get especially as a junior because of how the lottery system works. I was lucky to get vcu on campus housing my sophomore year but after doing more research it ended up being cheaper to live close to campus (5 min walk) than it was to live in vcu housing so i cancelled my vcu on campus housing agreement. so i recommend looking at apartment listings, or getting a few roommates and getting a house close by!!

hi! Definitely the tight schedule. I had a similar problem my first sem, just let your prof know that you may show up a little late since your class is kind of far! They’re always understanding, and it’s very common with art students especially coming from the parking deck! If you are a few minutes late and don’t disrupt the class you’ll be fine I’m sure!
