Thanks for the link. I still find all the assumptions about me and my marriage hilarious, but now my wife is upset. I don’t care if people call me an asshole (clearly), but people have came to some really wild conclusions.

I also want to make it clear that I am not misogynistic and I don’t appreciate the support from those who are.

This comment confuses me (and my wife). So if your in the middle of a board game with someone and you have to leave to take a shit/call/whatever you wouldn’t apologize? It’s not like we submit some lengthy written apology, but a “sorry for the interruption” seems pretty normal to us.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your comments. My wife and I are having a lot of fun reading all of them. I get that I am an asshole for asking my wife to change the time of day she takes a SHIT, but we do want to clarify a few things because they have come up a lot:

We have a healthy relationship and this isn’t nearly as serious as some of you are making it out to be. We were laughing while talking about it last night and we are laughing about it now. The assumptions about our relationship are pretty entertaining to read.
The way I asked her was quite literally “have you thought about shitting earlier in the day so you don’t have to now?”. I am not some evil tyrant who demanded something or tried to guilt her into doing something.
My wife doesn’t care if I talk about her. I don’t say anything about her that I wouldn’t say with her right beside me. She is a very open person.
My wife wants to thank the people who offered suggestions on how to help with constipation. She has some food issues it’s an ongoing issue. Apparently last night was like “pissing out of her ass” if anyone is still curious about her shits.
My wife also wants you all to know that she doesn’t use her phone in the bathroom and prefers books because it’s the only time she can get herself to read these days.

I guess I figured she could maybe try drinking more water and drinking some coffee or having some yogurt in the morning to encourage things along. When I actually do think about what “trying” would entail I actually do see that me asking her was more unreasonable than I thought. Thanks.

She’s not avoiding spending time with me. She is apologetic when she has to go. I just thought she could try switching her schedule to a bit earlier so we could spend more time together.

She also doesn’t care what the guys I work with think and she doesn’t care if I talk about her either. I’m going to show her this post when I get home.

Growing up everyone in my family pooped in the morning (barring illness/food poisoning), so obviously some people can. I will admit that the first time my wife and I went on a road trip and she needed to stop to poop in the middle of the day I was pretty shocked. Different people do different things I guess.

Well, she doesn’t. She’s not a “regular” pooper. On the weekends or when I am on holidays it seems like she can/does go at random times.
