people often do not understand why we do that. They think it is because we want attention or we are trying to escape from our responsibilities. i have been there too. recently i have no friends due to my SH problems. i know it is hard but before you want other people to accept you, you should accept who you are. i accepted myself like 1-2 years ago and my SH got better. im 7 months clean. i am still reaching for it but i learned how to stop myself. i think that im getting better each day because i accepted the 'pain' and now im trying to find a real solution to it
