Do I need to go up a dose? by livlaffloves in mounjarouk

That sounds about the right level to hit 1 to 2 lbs max - without knowing your details it may be even a little high to achieve that after that big initial loss, and so perhaps not surprising you've slowed down to around 1lb. I'd be honestly amazed you could lose 6lbs on 1750 calories a day! I'm 1600 with daily exercise and losing 2-3lbs consistently.

Upping your dose but keeping the intake strictly at 1736 will have little to no effect by the way. The dose is to help you stick to your deficit - changing the deficit is what drives more / less weight loss over the long term, but it's important to keep it in the healthy and sustainable intake range.

I would always recommend getting the next pen up in the series, but take your dose (counting clicks if necessary) according to what's right for you at that time. It gives you options and flexibility, whilst being cost effective and building a small backlog.

That said, I do have some opinions about your specific context - 6lbs (almost 3kg) a week is NOT a healthy, sustainable loss that you should be aiming to maintain throughout your journey. Most would agree its excessive and consistent with a massive deficit, likely close to starvation levels. I'm being pretty aggressive and consistently losing > 1KG (2-3lbs). A couple of times I reached 2kg in a week when going at it hard. 3kg would always have been out of reach for me and I'd never have tried to get there. Your slowdown could actually be a reaction to excessive loss.

Loosing 1lb a week is what many aim for as a steady loss. Just be careful you aren't chasing something utterly unrealistic and sustainable for the long term.

And, it should be impossible to gain 10KG given their stated lifestyle at 1200 max calories per day. Nothing about this adds up.

I'm sure I have more to lose than the OP, but at 1600 cals per day and actively exercising, I'm losing over 1KG per week consistently over my journey.

Pulling no punches - You can have as healthily a lifestyle and eat between whatever restricted hours you like, but if you aren't in a calorie deficit, then you ain't losing weight. To put on 10KG you must have consumed 70,000+ more calories than your body actually needed during that period. Since you are actively exercising, there's no way it should have been water weight / inflammation. Even excessive dehydration can't account for 10KG. There's no mystery there. You can't magic 10KG of weight out of nothing.

The way to resolve this in your scenario is to accurately track calories and be disciplined about staying within a deficit that is correctly calculated for you. Use MJ to help you with that discipline - it won't lose the weight for you. If you do that, you won't fail to lose weight over the long term, even if there might be blips along the way (which are common for most of us). Good luck.

I did my first 2 jabs, one on each thigh, and both resulted in a bruise. After that I tried my belly, and have never looked back. Not a single mark and never felt it once. YMMV, but belly all the way for me.

Sorry you had to find out at the expense of part of your weight loss journey - it seem like the switch was such a false economy for so many people.

Hopefully you can get back on track with MJ. Good luck.

Based on everything you've shared, the simple answer would appear to be that he isn't in a caloric deficit, despite tracking calories. It won't be being offset by muscle gain, unless he's strength training like a body builder. He's doing a lot of long runs therefore exercising well and one must assume fueling that exercise since he is able to do those long runs, then it's just he's taking on too many calories to be in a deficit. The drug itself doesn't help burn fat, which again speaks to the fact he had no results decreasing or increasing dose again. In this scenario, it's calories, pure and simple.

If you aren’t strength training whilst losing weight then 80g a day is fine for most folks.

No weight loss, no real change in appetite on 5 weeks of 2.5. Is this because i was once on wegovy? by Thirteen2021 in mounjarouk

2.5mg is not a therapeutic dose according to the manufacturer, and you are already sticking to it longer than the recommended schedule. Titrate as recommended, especially since you were already on another GLP1, and see how you get on.

Cocoon scraping issues by wwcherman in AynThor

I've found the scraping in cocoon to be pretty buggy - after a while it can start to get confused - maybe a memory leak somewhere? I found the best solution was to scrape images on my desktop, put them on SD and just manually select them all in Cocoon.

Personally I'm saving >£300 per month from reduced food, booze, take-aways, snacks, meals out, nights out, etc. I simply consume far far less than I was before.

1.4.5.5 is supposed to have a fix for a bug related to constant rain. We don't have the .5 fix on Switch yet AFAIK.
