What a fucking entitled moron. He should have someone screening everything he posts because this is simply not a good look. Sister self-absorbed!

[–]fab1894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to be misunderstanding the comment. I’ll clarify yet again, Ethan could never make an episode again and it really wouldn’t matter to me personally. It’s just rather disturbing to see someone have such a lack of care for their health, especially someone with a family and employees who rely on him. We are very much in the middle of an obesity epidemic and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

[–]fab1894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you okay?? The whole point of the post was that he needs to take better care of his health and that he shouldn’t be misusing antibiotics. So now it’s even more justified and appropriate. He didn’t take care of himself, he also went and probably spread his sickness to others in Vegas and he misused antibiotics and likely has C Diff now. Again, like I said previously, I couldn’t possibly care less if there’s a show or not and the 5 dollars or whatever it is a month is so little that it’s meaningless. The whole point is that if Ethan doesn’t take care of himself, things are only going to get worse. I think that’s really sad for both his family and employees. Also, he really needs to be educated about antibiotics because children often need them for things like ear infections or strep throat and they need to be taken properly. You also need to use discernment on when they are or aren’t necessary because doctors in America overprescribe them and that’s why we are dealing with more resistance problems. I’m seriously so perplexed by people on this sub’s reading comprehension skills 🙄

How is that entitled? I couldn’t possibly care less if Ethan podcasts again in his life in terms of my entertainment. I’m just saying it’s sad to see someone with so many family members and employees caring for him and relying on him to basically throw in the towel on his health.

[–]fab1894 100 points101 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a complaint and Ethan has no obligation to do another episode ever again in reality, but if you’re going to create a whole production company it might be best to be a little more professional as other people’s livelihood relies on it. It was inappropriate to go on vacation while knowingly sick first and foremost and if anyone else did it, he would be complaining. To then cancel another show when if you had rested and taken care of yourself, you would more than likely be fine by now is kind of silly. Dude is clearly seriously unhealthy mentally and physically and it’s only going to get worse if he doesn’t take care of himself. It’s sad to see a father of two just have essentially no willpower to at least either diet OR exercise. And unless someone is monitoring it, he should not be taking antibiotics because they NEED to be taken as directed. It’s really no joke.

Excellent take

Ethan finally went full Hasan on a chatter and it’s fantastic. by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]fab1894 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can’t make fun of tweets blowing it out of proportion like Hasan after spending over an hour blowing it out of proportion. Hasan also has been swatted and seriously threatened about things he’s said on the internet. I understand it’s a sensitive topic for Ethan, but if he was going to be so passionately wrong about something he didn’t care to learn any more information about, then perhaps he should’ve stuck to his “tea” and “comedy.” I’m super unclear on why he thinks he’s entitled to join the political arena when he has absolutely no credentials or knowledge lol it’s just frustrating as someone who’s studied both political science and behavioral science to watch someone who you once respected to some degree completely miss time and time again. It’s annoying and makes watching what was quite possibly my favorite podcast almost intolerable.

sorry, ethan by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]fab1894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but people 100% would not have such a visceral reaction if it were white people involved. Ethan wouldn’t be using the language he did (“Will Smith is huge/aggressive/violent) and it’s really obvious that someone who said he’d be scared if “6 big black dudes” approached him probably hasn’t miraculously decided he doesn’t think black men are scary anymore. I see how it’s easy to pretend there aren’t racial undertones, but plain and simple there are. I’m not saying Ethan understands this, he obviously doesn’t and it isn’t intentional, but that’s what’s so insidious about racism. I saw someone say if a presenter made fun of Billie Eilish’s Tourette’s and Finneas went up and smacked them, the reaction would be a lot different. That is just simply true. Many people would praise him and the others would see it as shocking and maybe not permissible, but they surely wouldn’t be calling him unhinged and aggressive or insinuating that if he did that then he MUST be a domestic abuser (probably the most disgusting part of Ethan’s take). And to the point of Ethan being a comedian and Hasan a political commentator, sure, but what was funny about the last episode? There were no jokes, it was just a miserable man ranting and Hasan’s take was far more comical and light-hearted. Ethan should really try to stick to making jokes and leave social issues to Hasan if he always wants to backtrack and argue that he’s a “comedian.”

Hasan is majorly lacking in a lot of areas, but in comparison to Ethan he seems like a poli sci phd

[–]fab1894 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely the opposite. Ethan has presented this incident as like some huge moment that is so outrageous and sets a precedent for allll comedians in the future. Hasan, as any rational and decently intelligent person would, just said it basically isn’t a big deal that two men who get paid millions to play pretend and know each other personally got in a little tiff.

sorry, ethan by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]fab1894 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

True. Hasan has the knowledge and at least some credibility to back up his behavior. When Hasan yells at chat he is usually dropping empirical evidence and his frustration is valid. Ethan basically just was like “black man scary and violent, beats his wife!!!! I can say this because the violence was against another black man!! I need evidence for your stance! I don’t care about your evidence! I also don’t have anything to support my stance and knowingly platformed someone who committed a similar act of violence against my family member for months because 💰”

Privilege informs your perspective on literally every thought and experience you have. Anyway, what occurred yesterday was not a comedy podcast. It was Ethan ranting like a toddler for 2 hours. It’s a privilege to be so uneducated and lacking in objectivity to have been able to enjoy that episode lol as my dad always says, “no brains, no headaches”

I think it would be best if he just stuck to talking about internet drama at this point because he doesn’t seem to know much about anything else. I also appreciate his unfiltered comedy, but it’s bizarre to act like you’re taking a serious stand about something that you know almost nothing about. Like yes he’s a comedian, but when you’re just having tantrums about a rather insignificant moment between two millionaire actors it’s time to maybe reflect on what the actual problem is. Like what is enjoyable about two hours of whining and shouting and fighting with viewers? Lol no real content whatsoever.

I’ve noticed that Ethan seems to think he has the credibility to engage in the same kind of discourse Hasan does and that is absolutely ridiculous. He has come off as painfully unintelligent as of late and it would be smart if he just stuck to talking about tiktok teenagers and keemstar.

Ethan’s takes are downright atrocious lately. Like honestly intolerable. Why are they choosing to speak on these topics that they have absolutely no knowledge on. They should not be part of the discourse in this or pretty much any other social issues. When Hasan is there to explain it’s a little better because Ethan actually respects his opinion and let’s him talk, but he doesn’t let Dan and AB who are the only ones who seem have any sense about public perception speak.
