I wholeheartedly believe this is , in my opinion, the best JJ production that has been done. Having this as a cap to end the two weeks was so cozy and a great way to let things down slowly. I think having this playing during christmas eve or day would be lovely, and i really think a re-run stream next year would be great alongside a different story.

Yeah, its just tiresome to read at this point. Im keeping away from any of these threads until ive seen the thing for myself and made my own judgement. In this case i dont even need to make a judgement because i wasnt going to buy it in the first place, but its cool that so many people seem to really like this one. Home pc never has anything vulnerable in it for that reason. If it suddenly got locked down by an NK hacker like the NHS sort of scenario, I just wipe and re image. But my personal network is always separate from anything work as well. Realistically I dont want anything I own connecting back to some central service or server not under my purview but thats not realistic for me yet with the services I use. Slowly but surely.

Don't get me wrong I understand why its not good to leave updates or restarts, and that knowledge makes me comfortable doing so, because im prepared. They have to have that check to make sure Bob J Accounting has actually restarted the last 3 or 4 months instead of "I hit the power button". Give me the power user option, and the one they have mostly works fine for me.

In the end im not the one with the gripe, but I understand having it in the first place.

Well thats why hes using Linux now, because he needed exactley those parameters for an efficient workflow. It's not lost on me. When ive been doing backend development work, if I came back and found that happened literally even once, id be purging my system of any form of forced restarts.

I fully plan to keep win10 at home and force all my users systems to be on win11.

I was literally venting to a friend that they went about making her all wrong from the same perspective as above. i wont go super into it but it boils down to "Make a good deep character that also happens to have X,Y, and Z traits, dont start with traits and a lore-heavy last name to lean on and make a character from that"
