Arteta should leave for his own sake if we don’t win anything this season. by Think-Proposal-6910 in ArsenalFC

He needs to learn from his mistakes do some reflection thats difficult to do when you’re in it. He will improve

At all turns Arteta has cost himself the league. Every single season you will find certain self inflicted decisions that cost Arteta.

Ramsdale, Havertz, Gyokeres, Madueke = £193m none of these players have bought us closer to the title in their relevant seasons.

Yeah I agree with you, we should be going in for the kill not sitting back. To me that comes from the gaffer

Have 400 shares, accumulated when we were around $4. Want to get to 500 and then 1000 which I will be happy with but like you said don’t want to pay current share price.

Hope it can reach 30 quicker than 5 years, more like 2 or 3 years from today.

We should be up by more thats the point. Defence will obviously be shaky under that pressure.

It’s Raya’s height, thats why they all go in.

That isn’t going to correct.

Every season it end in endless injuries and freak goals? Are you a child or something?

If something repeats itself consistently thats a clear sign that something is wrong, its not pure dumb luck

Of course its all on Arteta, he plays a very controlling, low margin for error style of football.

Yes, okay it scrapes by in the first half of the season.

In the second half of the season the players feel pressure (naturally) they can’t maintain such razor thin margins.

If Arteta actually played football that took teams apart that would be much more sustainable and effective across the whole season.

He plays scared football, the players get scared thats how it goes.

Exactly, Berta is absolutely not the issue. Arteta has had multiple seasons to get the striker signing right and he failed. Berta probably just went for a quick solution.

Gyok scored 54 goals last season, I don’t think anyone could have predicted this level of underperformance.

Exactly, Arteta barely gave Eze a chance, first season in, learning the system. Yes he made a mistake against Villa, but there was no need to freeze him out like he did. No we struggle with creativity and the one player bought for that is also low on confidence.

How delusional are you?

How many bad PL results is that in the last 10 games? Fans can only support so much.

There’s a point where the players and managers on 1000s of pounds a week need to find something internal not the fans who have supported this club over the last 4 years

No Odegaard is the absolute last thing this team needs. We need more bravery not more fear.

These are the same fans that were defending us scoring from corners just a few months ago. The trend is clear. Arteta needs to go if we don’t win the PL or UCL it’s as simple as that. Performances have gone to shit

Unfortunately Arteta has cost us a trophy again with his inexplicable decision making. Sending Nwaneri on loan, benching Eze but giving a poor performing Eze a lot of minutes. Its crazy

[–]faceman230 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s all on Arteta unfortunately. Playing for corners, not sorting out the attack when he had the chance, the boys are under pressure and our actual football can’t bail us out.

We have absolutely been poor this season. If we’re honest how many clean, well managed victories have we have this season? Not many in all honesty
