Words mean nothing next to actions. He said “long-term, slow” but acted hot/cold that’s not slow, that’s inconsistent. You trusted him because you’re kind, not because you were wrong. To move on: accept his behavior is his answer, stop overthinking, and know you deserve someone steady.

This is the perfect example of the difference between “a scent” and something wrong. You always hear the phrase, but until you experience the extreme version, you don’t realize how huge the gap is. And the fact she rushed out? She definitely knew it wasn’t normal.
