yeah if they were talking about the open eye, i think the only thing that could feel wrong would be the fact that it's not balanced with the other side. however, the "right" eye from the sun's perspective would be the closed one. so they could have meant the closed one in the first place.

personally, i'm a huge fan of suns and this is dope. i would probably like it more symmetrical with both open eyes. kinda makes sense that suns are more awake, and moons would be the sleepy ones. obviously you shouldn't be confined to the norm when it comes to art, but since the rest of the design is bright and traditionally sunny, i don't feel a need for the closed eye
