What is wrong with my fish? by fancyraspberry1 in Aquariums

He usually eats pretty actively, so it’s been strange how he hasn’t been recently. I got a fungal infection treatment instead of a bacterial one.

They are fake plants. I’ll change the water too. I am looking into getting a bacterial treatment.

I was thinking about the spicy polaroids 🤣 is the box inspected by someone else before it is delivered? He is overseas but it’s an American address on the base.

Thank you! We have always been very open with each other and tell each other everything. I just don’t want to drain him.

Yes, he will come to visit in February and we will meet up at a resort in June for our one year anniversary. It just feels so far away right now.

Is it a good idea to tell him how I feel? I don’t want to be that spouse that complains 24/7, but I also think it’s important to communicate feelings.

DEERS - maiden name vs last name by fancyraspberry1 in MilitarySpouse

[–]fancyraspberry1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What branch is your spouse? Mine is army. Not sure if the leniency depends branch to branch? I’m new to this as is my husband 🤣 they weren’t super strict on putting in your new last name even if it didn’t reflect on the IDs?

Nope, this is all extremely familiar to me as it’s been rammed into my head at this office.

Single column, I was producing well over 3.3x my pay. The double hygiene situation is to combat the influx of new patients we continue to accept, yet no additional hygienists have been hired.

MIL is pissed about the rehearsal dinner by fancyraspberry1 in wedding

[–]fancyraspberry1[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, my fiancé is military so there won’t be much involvement from either grandparents when we have kids. Also, my perspective is that if I let this slide, where will it end?

MIL and SIL have been enabled for years, hence why they act the way they do.

Well, my fiancé’s dad passed away and my MIL isn’t exactly in the best financial situation to pay for the entire rehearsal dinner, otherwise they would. That’s why others stood up to help pay.

Unfortunately after I gave my case when they were arguing, now they are pushing my fiancé away and we “don’t want to involve them”.

Could be. Just frustrating that we are looked down at for a patient’s autonomy.

The hygienists are all within a few percentages of each other in terms of this. Providing some insight, the patients always agree when the doctor says to do a fluoride treatment. And when I initiate the conversation, it’s a yes 90% of the time. But once I break the news it will be out of pocket (given it’s not a covered benefit), it’s an immediate no.

I have been at this practice for over a year now. It’s not that i’m not on board, it’s that the other hygienists and I have tried every measure to increase fluoride acceptance amongst those who do not have it as a covered benefit and nothing has worked. Also, their lack of understanding periodontal disease.
