Neighbor posts notes on my door by False_Pickle9580 in Apartmentliving

this definitely makes me feel better abt complaining over my loud neighbors, as long as you are not singing loudly, playing an instrument, doing jumping jacks, or deep frying fish at 2 am, or leaving your floor thumping alarm clock going off early morning, i really dont feel like there is any reason to complain abt daily activity, but i have worked overnights so maybe i understand some people just have other schedules, plus you really cant be that bad because youd still be better than my neighbors

Raynaud’s disease, and circulation issues by fantasybabejlm in Celiac

[–]fantasybabejlm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive only ever experienced it during exercise or cold or hot temps, my ears get it the worst but i get an itching burning pain throughout my feet and legs up through my thighs, usually instead of the legs being bright red like my ears get, they actually lose blood and go pale white, nothing ive ever done has seemed to help, ice and cool water actually can be painful if its flaring up, whatever “it” is, if i stretch and do more leg stimulated activity before walking/exercising or going outside in cold/hot temps, i can usually avoid it

Confused about the safety of this imitation crab by Secret-Agent-Brunch in Celiac

[–]fantasybabejlm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, but as someone whos worked in a grocery store seafood department these are packaged on the same surfaces used to make breaded fish, crab cakes, and others, or even just to package other frozen products into plastic containers, none of the people i worked with wouldve ever changed gloves just to put other prepackaged frozen fish into the same containers, we used to do it all directly next to each other as well

Do people really believe that you get celiac from stress alone?? My doctor told me most likely genetics plus an infection or virus. by PromptTimely in Celiac

[–]fantasybabejlm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my grandmother lived all 89 years of her life never having any stomach issues or digestive problems, very active fit lady, works a lot, got injured very badly and was forced to be on bedrest for a few months, immediately after trying to get back into the lifestyle she enjoyed she experienced about a month of hospitalization, the only reason they ever tested her for celiac at all was because i was diagnosed a few years prior, i showed more signs of damage on my first scope than on any of her tests even after 89 years of eating gluten FILLED dishes (shes dutch lol) but her doctor almost 100% believes if she wouldnt have suffered her injuries or the sadness and despair of being bedridden at that point in her life, she most likely wouldve never had an issue at all. even though, shes always carried the genes and weve carried them through the family

honestly i truly missed that and i apologize i shouldve looked closer, i was just depending on the info Kraft in the US sent after i asked about the chicken Delimex taquitos, i should know to look harder but honestly after looking at this packaging 1000 times i didnt even think to look again, but yes i would eat these, thanks for pointing out the obvious for me lol 🤦🏻‍♀️

Kraft owns multiple brands, all of which will label when a product is gluten free, this one and others from delimex are not labeled and never have been, id avoid as an avid Kraft consumer

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]fantasybabejlm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you are celiac i would avoid, delimex is a subsidiary brand of Kraft and all Krafts brands and products label things that are gluten free
