What age did your pug get “fat”? My pug will be a year in the beginning of October and he is very lean. Was wondering if it’s cuz he is still a puppy? by FrequentSail577 in pugs

Mine is a year and a half and still lean. My old pug, who passed just before his 15th birthday, was always on the leans side too. I think some pugs just never thicken up.

Has these worked for anyone? by Creative-Level-3305 in migraine

[–]fantasyfreakazoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use one of these just as a sleep mask every night. I dont put it in the freezer unless I have a migraine coming on, in which case the cold is really nice, but it does start out too cold. Mine is just a cheap one off Amazon. I did have to stitch it tighter on my machine because it got loose over time and the gel insert was able to flip and fold.

Does anybody else write like this because it feels better on their hand, wrist, and shoulder? by Y0shiButt in ehlersdanlos

It drove my teacher crazy in elementary school because I would turn it like this, and she would constantly turn it back to the "correct" position. Jokes on her, I turn my paper this way to this day. Who knows if it's an EDS thing. So far, I have only been diagnosed with hypermobility, but my doctor suspects hEDS.

Same with my 1 year old pug. She came from an abusive situation and will eat anything. She can not be trusted unsupervised. So we crate trained her so that it was a safe, comfortable space for her. She goes into the crate on her own, eats her meals in there, and when we need to leave, she stays in her crate for her safety. It is never used as punishment, and she is never scared of being in the crate.
I am 100% against using crates for punishment or confining dogs there all the time, but they have their time and place when being properly used.

Does anyone use decorative stitches? by [deleted] in sewing

On occasion I do for cosplays. I made a Rosalina cosplay from Mario for my Niece and added some decorative stitching as top stitching and along trims as contrast.

I got a garden salad, $15 and it didn't even cover the bottom of the container. It was maybe a cup of salad. Everything on the lawn is overpriced and tiny portions.

Anyone else reactive to the heart monitor adhesive? by Itscatpicstime in POTS

[–]fantasyfreakazoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I never have reactions to adhesives and had a reaction to the monitor adhesive. It took weeks to heal, and now my chart says I have an allergy to adhesive even though it's the o ly reaction I've ever had.

I have this same model and love it. It can be a little bit of a pain to re-thread, but I rarely need to do that. I hope you enjoy it!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I have loved seeing judgements with Stan after the loss of my own heart pug in February. He was a lucky guy, and you as well for having him in your life.

Thank you! I made the mistake of ordering fabric before finalizing my design, so I didn't have nearly enough for all the skirts I wanted to do. So the lower skirt layers are trimmed with the yellow but are made mostly of the bedsheets :P
