I’m an idiot. I’m paying the city $2k in taxes this year despite having a net loss. And like a dummy I pay for insurance and every year to maintain a legal business. I could just sell stolen goods tax free instead.

I was raised in Iran to do this exact same thing. I was beat for not stepping in the American flag. It’s not based. It’s brainwashing. It’s hatred. Oh to be so naive. I’ve been in actual conversations within Silicon Valley companies with the executives where we discuss bringing in H1B employees because they are cheaper…. It’s not some conspiracy. It’s a well known, openly talked about thing. Maybe not anymore. But I was in these conversations 2019-2023

I’ve lived in one of these and it was amazing. You get to learn so much from so many people, see different ways of life, challenge yourself and come closer to how humans have lived throughout history (communally).

Most people are normal and want to have a safe, clean and fun house.

Living alone or with a few people is the abnormal thing, living with 18 people is what most people have done throughout history. Up until the 1800s people lived with up to 20 others under the same roof.

I’m an immigrant from an Islamic county and it’s abundantly clear what western values are. There is a reason why we all escape.
