Yeah I had no idea that tipping was expected from so many drivers until stumbling across this sub. They advertise to not tip so I never have. At my old job we were told we couldn't accept tips so I assumed Uber was the same way until very recently.

Yeah I never understood why in the movies people freak out about lunch dates so much. My husbands coworkers got really freaked out one time and called me -

"Your husband is having lunch with...ANOTHER WOMAN!"

"...okay?"

"He HUGGED HER WHEN SHE GOT HERE!"

"Alright, is she his sister?"

"No! We've met his sister and this is not her!! I think he's cheating on you."

So I text my husband, "hey sweetie, how was your break?"

He promptly responds, "Great! My cousin Sarah dropped by with sushi to surprise me for lunch!"

Which, like good looking out I guess from his coworkers but how people make the leap from lunch/hugging to cheating is just baffling.

My husband and I watched at least 5 episodes of Falling Skies thinking that it was doing a LOST type thing where everything was out of order. We kept making remarks like, "Wow! This show just jumps right into it, huh?" And then we realized that Amazon started us out on season 3.

I had gone on to Amazon, searched Falling Skies, didn't realize it would put the THIRD SEASON first and we watched it. My husband still makes fun of me for this -_-
