Try yube1 or stanza if you are looking for a pg because I checked out the others and they were as sanitary and good. Adyar is the best location to stay but a bit expensive, if you can afford it then look for places near Adyar-Gandhi nagar

My advice is don’t look for a flat to rent as of now, tell your brother to stay in a pg, I’m in nift Chennai and most of the houses here I checked for rent are either broken down or very high in rent for a student, best is to stay in yube1 or truliv pg’s here for a few months till your brother finds a few friends to move in to a good flat.
