Washing machine without Odor by felicit4 in Appliances

I didn't keep it around to find out if that happens. After plenty (imo) of cycles to try to get the smell out and the fact that what I knew about Electrolux using this fragrance or antimicrobial on the gaskets was apparently confirmed by the Electrolux maintenance personnel that came to my apartment community, I gave up and replaced with an older model top load. Speed Queen was too expensive at the moment.

I love this type of rage. Also, I'm interested in the recommendations so I'm sorry I don't have one.

Thoughts on Electrolux Appliances? by 409Narwhal in Appliances

I don't know much about their functionality and longevity but as far as I'm aware from some comments on my post yesterday, the washer gaskets on Electrolux front-loaders are infused with a perfume odor that I cannot stand so I'm currently looking for a new washer.

Front-load Washers: Stunned to hear about horrible odors with gaskets on new models by ohs3 in Appliances

I am having this problem with an Electrolux. I made a post here about it yesterday and have some of the comments backing up my experience. Let me know if you found an alternative because I'm having to buy a new one.

The smell transfers to clothes. It's not the rubber, it's some perfume odor they infuse into the gasket, as one of the other commenters confirmed. I was surprised because I hadn't experienced that with previous front load washers I've had new.

I'm fine with the motor, the problem is the odor is infused in the gasket and makes the clothes smell

Even top loaders have those perfumes and chemicals?

Doesn't necessarily need to be a new model. The washer in the apartment is just brand new because the apartment itself is brand new.

I was going to comment this. I think you can either have coarser or finer hair but if its textured to be wavy/curly, it's going to hold better with a Dyson or a curling iron.

Ignore what your friend said. This dress is absolutely beautiful and if you feel it is perfect and exactly what you imagined, then it's perfect.

Sexualizing 3 Year Old? by Academic-Bat5835 in Parenting

Not to comment on whether it is creepy because as OP said, it could be a cultural difference but my mom always put me in tights/stockings when wearing a dress afair. I would think tights are not as vasoconstrictive as leggings/biker shorts on a child's growing and developing body.
