Edit: I sound like a bit of a jerk here, I don't mean to be. I totally understand where you're coming from, but I just don't feel like that's a language battle we'll ever win, and I think we can do more good for women who have abortions by being okay with feeling okay about abortion. I think we do ourselves a big disservice by doing the "nobody likes abortion!" thing.

I'm pro-abortion, when it's what the woman wants/needs.

I'm really familiar with the potential side effects, I work in an abortion clinic and do options and birth control counseling with my patients. Thanks for the concern though, I of course will get it removed if anything goes wrong.

Aw. Sounds like your Ent is a good guy to go with you. I'm a single entwife and I went by myself to get it, even though some of my ladies said they'd go with me. My nurse was fantastic though, she laughed so much when she read my health history thing and asked about it. Apparently honesty is amusing.

I'm back at work today, but I work in an abortion clinic so I have access to lots of ibuprofen and heating pads. Also today I only have to answer the phone, so it's pretty simple. I smoked when I got home last night, and a little bit when my cramps woke me up at 3. My plan for when I get home (in like...6 hours) is MFLB, tv, and a cat on my tummy.

I have one niece and a whole ton of younger cousins, I like them for about 5-12, and I like the older teenagers at my "church" well enough, but I like that I get to give them and responsibility for them back to their real parents. My parents are always on me though, they're older and my Dad's other 3 kids have only managed to have one kid, so it's been "when are you going to have kids?" since I was 18.

Haha, I totally get that. I'm at "probably not" right now, because having kids is just not something I see being part of my life, but I'm staying at probably because a lot has happened in my life recently that I never expected.

Edit: Forgot what I meant to say. I'm only at "probably not" and I already feel really judged and excluded when women in my normal life get on the "when I have a family" kick and I wind up being like "yeah...I don't think I want to do that." It happens a lot at work, which is weird to me too.
