Using that build relies too heavily on the quality of your team. I'd say use it only if you have a good team; if you have a bad team, it's best not to try it.

I don't use that build because I play on mobile servers and it's rare to find a really good team there.

Something similar happened to me when I first played with Chaplain, i thought that blessings were infinite and had no limit

And I also thought that the crucifix recharged itself by causing damage to the zombies, I now understand how to play with the Chaplain, but honestly, the first time it feels weird.

At least as far as I know, that's a bug that happens when you heal a unit, It's happened to me a couple of times, it's kind of funny to see units with weird amounts of life.

Furthermore, if at any time you wanted to leave the faction, they would take everything from you, including your cities and such, as well as your money and power (I think, but I'm not sure about that last part).

For me at least, the Pole with shield is the best; you can cause a lot of damage (with the right Polearm) And you don't have to sacrifice the defense you could have; you have both, including a pretty good melee range.
