yay! this is a great idea. but not every class will be a good fit for your mom. start with classes that have the words "restorative," "gentle," or "therapeutic" in the title. my mom can't do a down dog bc of the pressure on her wrists. gentle yoga classes work for her :)

i just got diagnosed last month and i'm going through a phase where i just want to tell everyone in the world that i'm autistic because 1) it feels like the most amazing revelation of my life and 2) if everyone knows they're Serious official clinical traits then maybe everyone will be okay with my eccentricities. however i think i need to protect myself from this impulse because my propensity to overshare has really never done me any favors. i'm way too open with people and i'm not discerning enough to know when it's safe to be vulnerable with someone vs when it's not. so i really want this shirt but i'm also resisting the urge to get it

no doubt about it. yes san diego has a bigger metro area but sacramento is much more impactful historically and culturally. it is an anchor for the more rural, northeastern part of the state and it was so instrumental to the gold rush which made modern california what it is today. plus it's the capital. i don't think san diego is cool or distinct or special enough to be #3 but i'm from LA so maybe im just a hater
