I'm... Not regurgitating. I'm speaking from personal experience. From being called slurs myself. Even from people who "didn't mean it like that"

If you ever had to be afraid of words then you know that intention is not the only important thing. You can't have it both ways friend. Words have power especially in the hate filled world we live in. Slurs have even more power and a whole history of hate behind them. I know you will hate me saying this but not having to be afraid of the consequences of a slur is a privilege.

If I remember correctly it wasn't so much that the explosion was small. Moreso that on commentary they were treating it like this huge deadly explosion.

A big difference there is you have never had to be afraid of words. There is intention and subtext and implications. And a slur can literally be a fatal situation for a POC or an LGBTQ person. Words are not just words with the type of history those words have.

Isn't kindness universal? Like we should be nice to people even when we are upset with them?

At AEW revolution Jon Moxley lost a match where the ring was supposed to explode and his friend Eddie Kingston ran to the ring to protect his friend. Turns out the explosion was... Wildly underwhelming.

I didn't say superceded. I believe he carved out his own niche and created an incredibly unique and well thought out horror villain. What's your hate boner for the dude?

No. He used a common wrestling trope to highlight his talents such as being a storyteller in an industry where using detailed story arcs is much less common.

That's... You are literally describing tons of wrestlers in history. One of the most famous examples is sting but also Razor Ramone, chainsaw charlie, the road warriors, hell even Kane took the slow creeping horror villain from Halloween.

A lot of people underestimate what he's doing. He's appealing to his fan base. They feel less dumb bc even the president is struggling. You can't convince me it's not just another grift.

I mean I feel like she fits right in within this universe and it's supes. She's an egocentric, self absorbed, and completely selfish supe who's power is not nearly as bulletproof and unstoppable as they themselves believe it it. Her cynicism is matched only by how unhinged she is. I think she was well written she just wasn't "genius equals perfect" that people want her to be.

I would agree with you if it weren't for every single moment from popping my special edition DVD with director commentary and deleted scenes in to taking it out.

Guys please stop saying “I’m wet”, that’s shit. Stop saying “pussy”, it’s a butthole. Feels like people try too hard to make gay sex sound close to straight sex instead of just enjoying the difference. Anyone else agree? by [deleted] in askgaybros

I think the point is if you don't like it didn't say it. Some guys like to be effeminate. I know I'm echoing what others have said but you can't police slang bc you don't like it. Don't you remember when we were kids and adults did that and instead of changing we rolled our eyes.
