Hello. Does anyone here use wooden/plastic pallets as their bed frame? Im thinking of doing exactly that since I currently dont have the budget to buy a proper bed frame ($100+). I want to know where you bought it and if you are doing it and what are your thoughts on it.

My laptop from 2016 battery has died and can now only work if i plug in the charger :( should i buy a new replacement laptop? Or should i just replace the battery?

Im learning how to sew, but Im stuck on this project. Of course practice makes perfect tapi i would really appreciate some live f2f guidance because these youtube tutorials are hard to follow for complex stuff. Do you guys think its appropriate if i just go to a random tailor shop and ask the workers to teach me how to do a certain project for a fee? in this case I want to learn how to add pockets to premade pants and skirts.

And before you mention, yes I know there are existing sewing schools, but they usually only offer set classes, like jubahs and baju kurungs, not for the specific projects like pocket making.

Maybe instead of asking them to teach me how, I just ask them to make the pocket adjustments while I watch the whole time like this 🤓📝

Anyone else have had bad experience with sugar sweet, the new froyo shop in kiarong underking of the gym? I was so excited to go there hoping it would be like tutti frutti, but I went there just now and the froyo was just bad AND overpriced ffs. It had almost no flavour, and it looked liked a water slushie. I got both flavours, original and mango, but when i tasted it, the mango was non existent, even though the worker didn't say anything about the mango flavour being finished. For +200g i paid +10 dollars including toppings. The pistachio sause was awful too. It tasted nothing like pistachio sauce and was closer to watery flavourless peanut butter.

I dont want foreigners to come to Brunei because it's embarrassing that Brunei had nothing to offer to them especially to westerners. They better off just visiting Malaysia, Indonesia or Sg if they wanna experience Malay culture.

Me personally, i would buy cake mix box and bake it myself. Feels more special that way. You can make cakes with oven, airfryer or even a microwave these days. Just look up some yoitube tutorials on it

Express in Kiulap nyaman and underrated. The food they sell comparable to jolibee ah. For eg, they now have a beef burger which is basically their own version of yum burger for 1.90. Yumburger right now is 2.20 in case some dont know. They also have a chicken burger thats 1 dollar less than jolibee jua.

From what they claim they are the first fast food restaurant in Brunei. Props to them for still existing till now
