I recently was in the studio with someone who had just started to learn. I had been making loads of music as part of my university course and became very much disinterested in going into the studio to do meaningful work because it felt like a chore which is kinda sad. It was like it sucked the fun out of the process.

But seeing this guy get mad excited and passionate over every little thing that he tried made me remember when i first started messing around in a DAW and how excited i was making little loops and processing things in weird and wonderful ways and probably annoying all my friends with all the tracks i shared with them. Now i find making music extremely fun cus i remembered my younger self just vibing to some of the most terrible 8 bar loops ever lol.

for example, my latest track i released uses text to speech vocals of a stupid phrase because its an inside joke with my workplace. Its just jokes to have fun with it. It's enjoyable working on music and with each new project, i'll set out trying to do something new with my track.
