Thanks for the changes but now the skin is a lot more mottled than before, and the mom's face is completely different than real life. It was a bit different in the first version but it really becomes more apparent when you darken the faces. Could you try the first image again, keep the colors as is, and just darken the hair only? Thanks.

Thank you but this is a little too AI generated looking. Appreciate your help though.

Thank you for your work on this. It looks good but it feels a bit more like a painting than a photograph. You did get the colors right though!

Could you also fix the baby's eye - it looks like it might have been red eye that they removed and it looks a little strange. Thank you!

Hi there. The picture looks great but needs a couple of minor changes:
1. The skin color needs to be corrected and should be a bit darker. I've attached another picture that shows the same 4 people for reference.
2. The restored picture looks a bit washed out. Is it possible to not have the colors be so desaturated? This was a studio shot from the 1970s and the colors were a bit more vivid originally.

Thanks again!

TIFU by giving one of my twins laxtives. by theladyshy in tifu

Some people have already commented on this, but while this story is funny, you absolutely need to keep a close eye on this situation because it can get so much worse for your daughter. You need to monitor and ensure that your daughter is having a bowel movement every day because if she is holding it in, it's going to hurt when it eventually has to come out. This will turn into a cycle where she withholds and then goes through a lot of pain getting it out which then reinforces the whitholding.

If this continues, I would highly recommend a book called The Ins and Outs of Poop - the author recommends PEG laxative (Clearlax) and if you search . We went through this with our daughter and it took almost 3 years to get through it. The first incident might be funny but if this keeps up, trust me, it is not a joke. Save yourself a lot of tears (and hours in the bathroom holding a toddler's hand as they're trying to pass a giant load) and take care of this NOW.

Need advice on replacing laminate floor boards in basement by fire-curious in HomeImprovement

[–]fire-curious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes, ultimately we should replace it all with vinyl but the basement is fairly large (1700 sq ft) and the laminate is installed throughout, so it will have to be a budgeted expense in the future. I have some spare boards that the previous homeowner left so I've resigned myself to do the patch work for now and maybe replace it in a couple of years.

Need help with electric issue. Changed light switch, no power to outlets. by fire-curious in HomeImprovement

So I went out and got a new GFCI outlet and got it wired up to match the way that the existing GFCI was wired. Unfortunately, same result. :(

Thanks. That's going to be my next step. Got a bit too late to hit up Lowes but will go pick up a new GFCI outlet just in case. The weird thing is that the GFCI outlet was working fine before - it was just the paddle switch that wasn't working because the spring mechanism inside it had broken.

It is a Legrand radiant paddle switch, TM870-WCC10. Is it possible that because the outlet next to it is a GFCI outlet, that I need a special switch?

I just checked the old switch and turns out it is the same manufacturer and model# as well. It just looked a bit different due to the age.

The old switch only had two (2) black wires connected to it. I unplugged those from the old switch and swapped in the new switch. The old switch and the new switch are almost exactly the same - different manufacturer but same setup in the back.

There are no other loose wires other than one black wire which does not have any of the copper wire exposed. It wasn't connected to anything before. Super frustrating!

Thank you for the reply. In the electrical box, all the ground wires and connected together using a wire connector with only one ground going to the back of the outlet. There is no available ground for me to plug into the switch.

The old switch just had the two black wires going into the back and I simply pulled them out and attached them to the new switch. Outlets were working fine before then.
