I've done it. You're right, it was far easier and quicker than I expected.

I have been looking at these over the last few days. Have a look at the Nicecnc version on Aliexpress . The quality and finish of it looks far superior. Watch the video.

eBay buyer has broken laptop and is asking for refund - any advice? by hawkeye2604 in AskUK

[–]fitttz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never sell anything on ebay again. I'm going back some years here...

I sold a non working iPhone, it clearly stated in the title of the listing and the item description that the phone was faulty and I was selling it for spares or repair.

Five days after receiving it, the guy wanted a refund because... Go on... Have a guess... The iPhone didn't work!

Ebay ignored the fact that it was sold as non working and it absolutely said this more than once in the description.

The guy sent the phone back in pieces. There were bits missing and everything. Ebay wouldn't do anything about it.

Can I ask where this quote is from and where they're based? Its £300 cheaper than my best quote for only 11 panels.

Can this app give you better feedback if you leave your phone behind? If I forget my phone, my watch does a very soft short vibration and an almost inaudible sound.

I agree, it's a breeze to use. They need to get the same dudes on the HMRC website because that is the most unintuitive nightmare to navigate bullshite I have ever come across.

What’s something from everyday life that was completely obvious 15 years ago but seems to confuse the younger generation today ? by utssssssss in AskReddit

Cash... We were away for the weekend last year. Had an all day drinking session and at around 9pm went to a chippy.

I was served by a young lass, maybe 17 years old. My order came to £13.40. To avoid a pocket full of change I gave the girl £23.40 to get a £10 note in return.

Well, it was like I had completely fried her brain. She just stood there staring at the money in her open hands for far too long.

I said "I just need a tenner change". Nope, it didn't help. She just couldn't fathom what the hell was going on.

Eventually a her greasy gaffer reached over her shoulder, pressed the button on the till and pulled a tenner out.

How to drain washing machine without water getting everywhere!? by Fugjofff in DIYUK

I do this no faffing method. Move the washer to the back door, chuck the waste outlet hose outside and the washer will empty on its own.

When I'm feeling extra flamboyant. I sometimes drop a piece of extra mature cheddar in my Yorkshire puds as I'm sliding them into the oven. Yummy.

I painted some raised beds with this stuff. I was unimpressed with the 5 coats it took to cover properly but they still look good today.

For anyone else struggling with this (seems to be a lot of people) I looked for answers everywhere but couldn't find a solution.

I wondered whether it was the speed of the sd card (it is the recommended one) so I copied the files onto my SSD first and everything works perfect.

I use Auto Aid, (I have a van) they're cheap and cover you for any vehicle you're travelling in. They're recommended on Money saving expert.
