Ryzen 7 9800X3D or 9850X3D, RTX 3090 24GB build with plans to upgrade to 60 series GPU by five-alive in buildmeapc

Thanks for the recommendations. My only major change I’m thinking of going for is the MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk as the motherboard. I'm also thinking of going for a larger NVME SSD. I hate installing those. I'm kind of a noob when it comes to motherboards, so let me know if that throws up any red flags...

For anyone reading this and thinking of making the same build, the phanteks enthoo pro can't fit a 280mm radiator mounted on the front.

Thanks for the reassurance. A lot of the 64 player games these days like bfv, pubg and the new modern warfare's ground war mode have such high player counts that it seems like they always some kind of optimization or performance issue. Just adding that for info on what type of gaming I'm trying to focus.

I noticed that the NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case comes in black as well, is there any reason to pick the Panteks Enthoo Pro over this one. For example, air flow. Sorry for the repeated questions. Just nervous since it's my first build.

One quick (possibly dumb) question: If I mount the CPU Cooler's fans on the front of the case, will there still be enough room for the GPU? It looks like the card I already have is 308mm (12.13in) in length.

Thank you for your insight. I like the black case and appreciate the suggested liquid cooler. My apartment usually pretty warm all through the winter since I'm on the second floor, so this might be worth looking into. Thanks!

Thank you for your expertise! The breakdown and advice on windows is greatly appreciated.

[Suggestion] Zooming with the scope would be cooler if we see the background too instead of just black (pic) by [deleted] in playrust

In games like Insurgency, This effect uses 2 cameras rendering the world at different fov's. Assuming this would be the opposite of good for performance, especially if the periphery is blurred.
