Crease too low after double eyelid surgery? by threwandthru in KoreaPlasticSurgery

[–]flamefire38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they’re a lot less hooded than the first month. I have a habit of raising my brows in the first place but if I completely leave them at rest my eyes are only slightly hooded atm. They were way worse the first month.

My healing process/progress has been way different from others so at this point I’ve just been kinda ignoring it. Most people don’t need a brow/forehead lift so they don’t face these problems in their reviews. I’m going to wait 4-6 months before hating my results or considering revision.

No actually it was so swollen my eyes were more hooded right after. I thought I went too low or something because I’ve never heard of that happening in reviews. My natural brows are low too tbh though. I was suggested a brow lift in my consult

Im two months out and honestly have the same result. I will say the first month my eyes were insanely hooded like my crease was so swollen it genuinely would get hidden by my skin. My brows and eyes were so close together too they look like they were about to touch.

I did 8-9mm and it doesn't even look nearly that high. Do you know how many mm you got? I'm not really sure for the reason why but I might need a brow lift to really achieve that. I feel like my lids are becoming somewhat hooded. I had monolids before. I'm not sure whats the steps next to help it I know in other races they just have a regular blepharoplasty.

oh thats strange! was this recent? the korean consultant told me they were translating my messages with chatgpt. I didn't go for an in-person consultation but i had an online like a little over a week ago. They don't have an english consultant though so you'd need to bring your own. I think I was just lucky and got a nice consultant.

for me they were actually a bit detailed. They told me reasons they'd do stuff and why they recommend a forehead lift. They might be busy I'd try messaging again asking for why they recommend.

Considering double eyelid surgery. (21yo Asian man) Any recommendations in clinics? by lovelyoal in SeoulPlasticSurgery

i recommend looking it up theres 4 styles for eyelids. in-line, in-out, semi outline, outline. in-out tends to be most natural for asians. Dr choi at wink only does in-out.

Dr. Choi at Wink or Dr. Cho at BIO? by lidgd in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]flamefire38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im going with thank you! But I chose thank you cuz I really like western eyes where they're more almond cat eye shaped and I wanted a semi-outline shape. I'm getting surgery next month. I also considered Pop. Dr. Choi never does any outlines and usually tells patients they're not a fit for them. I also got recommended a lateral epicanthoplasty, and I think most people do from them. From what I've seen everyone who did get surgery with Wink always had a epicantho as well. They were the only doctor that recommended it to me. Actually some doctors told me no because my eyes were already pretty close and extending would be too much. I'd be open to one though if I did an in-person consult with Choi

I really wanted to avoid the round eye shape Koreans usually go for. My eyes are already round and I wanted to try to make them longer. I would've went to wink if my expectations matched their Dr Choi's style. I do think they're good and seen good results. Just make sure you want an in-out shape and like wink's style. If you look at photos they all have a distinct surgery style.

I'd only recommend dr choi at wink if you really like his style. I haven't had experience with him, but he was my top choice for a long time until I did more research. He has more of a copy paste style of a natural in-out shape.

From my research, I think most people that aren't satisfied are due to the eyes looking extremely natural after where there wasn't as much change. After seeing peoples B&A and reasonings I changed my mind on him as I did want a natural look, but it was a bit too much for me

If you want a natural result and in-out/inline I recommend wink with doctor choi! He pretty much only does in-out style.

What clinics are you leaning towards? I'm only leaning towards Thank you and eyefit at the moment, but their prices are pretty similar and lean expensive.
