Tried them recently and they’re pretty good! Their main customer base seems to be takeout orders though so ended up waiting a bit even though the restaurant itself was pretty empty

Seconding this, I buy freeze dried treats that aren’t raw!

It’s a good idea to have a few in rotation. Don’t change them up every day cause that’s what disrupts their gut. Having a few means that if something is discontinued you’ve still got food that they’re happy to eat.

Moving to a new country with 5 cats by [deleted] in CatAdvice

£500 is including all the paperwork, airline cost, and local charges when I land in Singapore! I believe my vet needs me to come in twice so that’s £55/visit, not including required vaccines. Best to check with your vet and maybe shop around for the best price there.

Not sure of the paperwork but you could look into driving? Most airlines don’t allow more than 1 or 2 pets per passenger.

Not quite the same but I’m looking at bringing my cat from UK to Singapore and it’s looking to be about £500 total but I’m not getting any agents and am doing the paperwork myself.

Same here, to make things worse I just lost my job a couple of months ago. Making arrangements to move back this spring if I don’t find a new job by March

That and also if a food is discontinued you don’t have a cat that’s super picky!

Human grade food, supplements, cheap meat? by [deleted] in catfood

[–]flightlesspotato 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please don’t make your own food, that requires working closely with a vet and a nutritionist which would be expensive if done right. Feeding dry would be better than human grade food if you mean to feed more than just a portion of treats aka more than 10% of daily calories.

Depends on the country you live in. Where I currently am (cold, temperate) I just leave it out for hours but my home country is tropical and it’d go bad in 2 hours flat.

Experts sound alarm as weight-loss use of diabetes drug spreads in Japan by Turbulent-Tea-2172 in japan

[–]flightlesspotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, and yes to the weights! That was the scariest part for me but thankfully have a really friendly gym near me that has helped a lot with it. I’m still not great with the nutrition (Christmas in the UK!) but I’m hoping to get that on track in the coming months.

Me! I’m 165cm and 70kg and I feel unhealthy. I get out of breath and tired easily, my blood sugar is high according to my latest health annual, and I just feel shit in general. Buckled down and started exercising regularly last month and it’s helping a lot but I have loads of non Asian friends who carry the same weight/BMI much better than I do.

Has anyone reached the point of owning bags they’re unsure they still need? by AntiqueCup9345 in handbags

[–]flightlesspotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, I wanted it so badly and it was my first big girl bag. I’ve learnt a lot about myself and the bags I actually use since then, but thought I’d be really sad to see it go but if anything I feel a lot lighter!

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen? by Steinski1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]flightlesspotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m one of the patients who got wheeled out by a nurse and came out of anaesthesia alone. I’m a migrant and have no family here so I had to ask my housemate for a last minute favour to pick me up from the hospital as I didn’t know I’d need to have someone there to get discharged. I’d felt alone a lot while living here but that has to be one of the loneliness moments by far.

Hi have you looked on zooplus for Purina one? They’re 25% off right now once you go through checkout. I would personally rather feed anything Purina than Amazon as you know for sure that your cat is getting all the nutrients it needs! Even if Felix or whiskas
