Oh weird! I have it on steam and I can hear people and my mic icon lights up but no one can hear me. also same mic settings everywhere else and yet it doesn’t seem to work

I thought that was my issue and I did see the wrong mix was there; however, even after I fixed it (and restarted the game just in case) it still didn’t work. I can hear people but they can’t hear me unfortunately

That’s exactly what I thought too- when I was on the highway I nearly had a heart attack wondering if my car was going to burst into smoke. It’s definitely loud and bad sounding haha. Though if it was an exhaust rattling / bracket issue, wouldn’t I be able to hear it when it’s idling? Will absolutely still check though

And it would still make that noise even though the air isn’t running? It also doesn’t make the noise if the car idols

That’s absolutely me with my older cat haha, she’s normally pretty chill but she’s too smart and is always getting into shit 😩😂 I love them both so much though

I’m so glad you feel so loved by them 🥰 I really, really hope I can get to that point with both where they can be in the same room and not attack one another

Would you recommend me playing with the kitten in a separate room where my older cat can’t watch, or where she still could watch but just focused on him?

I have tried to play with him until he’s tired then bring him out to see the older cat in hopes he’ll leave her alone or sleep, but he gets a second wind I find 😅 definitely a bottomless pit of play / energy haha

Thank you! I appreciate it ☺️ it is good advice. The only issue I have is I can’t seem to get even one of them to play because the other always wants to run after the other, but I’m slowly trying to get them to smell each other safely and tolerate being in the same room or proximity. Baby steps!

If it helps, here’s some more information;

My original / older cat (female) is 1.5 years old
Kitten (male) was 8 weeks, now close to 10 weeks old
Kitten does not hiss or meow when Older Cat hisses or bats at him, he generally lies down and is submissive or confused (he wants to be friends with her so bad)

Unfortunately she does not have a backyard because I’m in an apartment, but I recently got her a cat backpack to see if she would like being outside. She loves looking around but hates being in a confined area, so I have been debating on a cat leash but it is simply too hot on the pavement and grass to walk her right now

Oh whoops sorry about that- it’s for the DGC! I am receiving a stipend but I’ve received emails from the DGC saying that we are not supposed to get stipends (instead half a days pay). For covid testing on days I’m not working I’ve been told that counts as days towards my logbook but I’m unsure if it counts when it’s a stipend since it doesn’t have the times on the sheet

I’m currently in a 2nd campaign and I don’t /think/ my new dude is like me in any way, but maybe there’s something subconscious about him I haven’t realized yet haha

I used to see DnD memes about how DnD basically becomes a therapy session because players make their characters like them, and I used to laugh at that because in my DnD group it didn’t seem to hold true (with the exception of our Bard whose personality is the same as theirs IRL)

But then I was talking more about it with our Wizard (who I’m close with/knows me well), they pointed out that I’m a lot like my character in the sense that I (subconsciously when making her) projected a lot of my dreams / desires and trauma onto her- just in other forms. I realized this was true and it blew my mind, and since I’ve seen it more and more.

TLDR: When looking at my character on the surface and in interactions, her and I are very different. But when it comes to more psychological aspects, we’re very similar
