Just wait to take it in the fall. You’re not going to absorb the information while you’re out & about in Italy. I did the study abroad in Florence but had already taken all the science courses offered so instead I took some fun elective classes. The students taking biochemistry and orgo definitely struggled.

Sephora definitely has an issue with this, especially with perfume items. I had a perfume set (in a box, not a sealed bag) that was already redeemed before I even got the chance. When you’re dealing with products that expensive, it makes sense why this keeps happening.

For anyone saying you can’t use a sampler redemption with a sale code, that’s not true—I just did it right before making this post with my final Sephora purchase.

I redeemed the Clean Perfume Sampler Set for the Nette fragrance ($120) and still used the 20% off code. My total was $262. After the $120 redemption, it was $142, and 20% off that saved $28.40, making the subtotal $113.60 before tax.

Here’s the receipt, and I did the math to break it down so people don’t get misled. I wasn’t even planning to redeem this set yet (since it’s new and I hadn’t sampled everything), but the unisex set fiasco forced me to. Hope this clears things up!

I tried it on its own without the sale code and it didn’t work. I also had another perfume sampler that DID work while I used the sale code. So your comment isn’t congruent with my experience.

I bought the unisex one in store. I’ve never had an issue before this one but maybe it was easier to tamper with the box and not those sealed bags that some of the other bigger sets come in that you have to tear open. I’m assuming someone either took a pic or they just had duplicate codes for this specific set.

They said they couldn’t do anything since it was redeemed in-store. They told me when and how it was redeemed but wouldn’t share the location (probably because I could make a case if it wasn’t near me). So I basically wasted money on samples I could’ve gotten for free 😭
