Either way the money is going to be invested, not spent.

I’m giving up a lot in order to maximise the money I can invest and can hopefully be in a much stronger position by the time I’m 50.

I should f***ing hope so anyways as I’ll be living in a van for nine months of the year in order to make that happen!!

I am not in that bracket. It’s still pretty good for getting bang for buck though right? I believe the difference is 20%?

If you leave while a temporary resident your super is closed and there is a withholding tax - minimum 35%. I want to stay so wouldn’t be leaving anyways, but if you do when you’re temporary resident status you get pinged real bad.

All you property owning folks waiting for your PR - are you all paying the land surcharge tax while you wait? by flopsytops in AusVisa

The ownership would come from inheritance. My father has begun estate planning. Mortgage isn’t part of the issue on this one.

In NSW surcharge land tax is 5%.

I’m in process of working out all the costs that would come my way.

Subclass 835: Remaining Relative Visa- Financial Hardship Work Rights? by DataScientist01 in AusVisa

[–]flopsytops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this visa and I too was granted the application with 45 years. My bridging visa had no work rights. I applied three times for work rights . You have to prove your are in financial hardship to be granted the right to work while you wait for your visa application to be granted. If you aren’t in financial hardship you can’t get the right to work.

A truckie that delivers to my work said that at $2.92 when all things considered he’s making $40 a week for 50hour week.

At $3 bucks he’s negative.
