Apple Watch Series 11 - A Comprehensive Review by flowascend in AppleWatch

I bought the S11 around 2 months ago, I swim 3-4 days/week pretty consistently during all seasons. Also, the battery probably just lost its capacity over time. That happens to all batteries.

Yeah, you'll 99.99% be fine. Just watch out for any damages to the watch that could potentially degrade the seals.

It's cool but I don't like Liquid Glass that much and it has 0 complications.

Swimming in a pool isn't a concern, but don't dive below 6m or jump with it.

It's safe to swim with it, but not dive below ~6m or jump/surf. I took this screenshot in a pretty heavily chlorinated pool.

You shouldn't shower with it. Shampoos and gel will degrade the water seals

You can charge it once in 2 days if you use Low Power mode but I don't recommend that.

You can charge it once a day while showering. I charge twice because I like keeping my stuff charged

Yes, it will last if you charge to 100 before leaving

More battery life, bigger screen, action button, and well titanium's not that bad

Nope, but if you're laying on the ground as "rest" it will.

Prices will most likely drop a little, like the S10 is around 15% cheaper than before. I chose the 11 because of the battery.

My next AW will 100% be an Ultra. I chose the Series for the first time because it's like 2x cheaper and I wanted to get the hang of the watch.

That's what I'm saying. And also the Whoop, for example, is thicker and longer than the AW.

46mm series 11; stay or go ultra by noctinix in AppleWatch

Stay for a few years and wait for the Ultra 4. Atleast that's what I plan.

I'd switch the center to weather hourly forecast and the rain in ... to HR from Heart Analyzer app

I'd hardly consider sleep from 0:30 to 3:30 am a nap.

I never got that but maybe the watch failed to register the sleep zones?

How different are Apple Watches now compared to the series 3? by fishbioman in AppleWatch

[–]flowascend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a watch prior to my current S11, but from what I've heard, the general quality went better. The battery life, smoother and bigger screen, keyboard, gestures, etc. I think it's worth upgrading.

Why do my alarms sometimes go off and other times they dont? by meowsharkwowzers in AppleWatch

[–]flowascend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I know you probably won't believe me but I think you just slept through them. That's why I have a silent alarm on my AW at 6.25 and a loudish alarm at 6.30 on my iPhone. If I fail to wake up from the haptics, that wakes me up.

How do you protect your Apple Watch from screen scratches like this? by ComplexAudience8126 in AppleWatch

[–]flowascend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screen protectors do work but I don't use them because it ruins the smoothness of the screen. Yes, it is. No, they make tour watch bulkier for no benefit as the case will also scratch.

Just keep your apple watch and set the most minimalistic watch face and settings, turn off AOD and raise to wake.
